"This is a silly happy romance story. When I was reading this book most of the time I had a smile on my face, that's how good it is."- Frenchy, Amazon reviewer

"This is one of those stories that grabs your attention from the very first page. I absolutely loved this book. The author did an amazing job with this story. Cade and Abby - WOW!! So touching, so much chemistry and their love story is so intense. And the sex scenes were Hot,Hot, Hot!!!"- Madison, Top 100 Amazon reviewer.

A Breath of Heaven (El Camino Real book 1)
Cade and Abby have a history. Years ago they were in love. Undeclared and unrequited, Cade waited until Abby was old enough for him to declare his love. Abby wanted nothing more than she wanted Cade. But something happened. Abby pushed Cade away and he never knew why. Since then, sparks fly when they’re together. Antagonizing one another has become their favorite sport. The only problem is… it’s all a front. They bicker because they both want the same thing – each other. A wedding brings them together and Cade is determined to learn Abby’s secret. He’ll do whatever it takes to win her love. Meet the King Family of El Camino Real – five brothers, one sister and a legacy as big as Texas.

Kelly Collins writes with the intention of keeping the love alive.

Always a romantic, she is inspired by real time events mixed with a dose of fiction. She encourages her readers to reach the happily ever after and bask in the afterglow of the perfectly imperfect love.

Kelly lives in Colorado with her husband of twenty-five years. She loves hockey and stops for shiny objects.

Which three people (famous or otherwise) would you most like to invite to a dinner party?

First, I would want Bradley Cooper because no dinner party should go without an appetizer.

Second, I’d love to invite Marilyn Monroe. Was she really a size fourteen, and did she sleep with both Kennedy’s? Don’t judge me, inquiring minds want to know.

Last, I’d invite Martha Stewart because someone has to clean up. J

2. Who has inspired you in your life and why?

Oh, the list is endless, but in truth it wasn’t until I became a mother that I truly became inspired. My three children make me want to be a better person. I don’t always achieve success, but I never stop trying.

3. How would your best friend describe you?
I have two and I just asked them, and this is what they said, “Fun to be around, witty, honest, non-judgmental, the best for decorating ideas!! The second friend said,  “I
would say that you're pretty damn hilarious you have a great sense of humor, and you have a heart as good as gold.” That shocked me too, I would have bet bad influence would have topped their lists.

4. How do you handle criticism?
I’m a bit snarky so I tend to handle my hurts with humor, or I hide in my room and pout but mostly humor.

5. What three things do you need to be successful in this industry?

Thick skin

A sense of humor

A never-quit attitude.

6. What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

Oh my, this is a tough one. Let’s start with the weaknesses. Self-doubt tends to plague me at times, but I treat it as a humbling mechanism. As for my strengths I have a go forth and conquer attitude. A paradox you say? Well, once my self-doubt sets in, the snarky girl inside bitch slaps me and tells me to pull up my knickers. It seems to work.

7. What type of writing environment do you prefer?

I love the smell of a gardenia candle burning, the touch of the cool keys of my MacBook Air, my dogs at my feet, and complete silence. How am I supposed to hear all these voices in my head if I’m surrounded my chaos?

8. What was the first romance you read that stuck with you and why?

A Night in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux. I don’t know if it was because it was my first romance or because I believed that love could conquer anything, but I know that it changed the way I thought about romance books in general.  Also there was a hunk of a man who traveled through time to be with his soul mate. Who wouldn’t want that?

9. Other than writing, what do you like doing in your spare time?

Spare time? What is this spare time you talk about? In all seriousness, I love going to the movies. I like to walk the trails in my town so I don’t  get a writer’s ass, and I have a bit of a Trader Joes addiction so you can always find me lurking in the aisles for something new. Have you tried the Thai spiced almonds—amazing?

10. What is the title of the last book you wrote? Tell us how you relate to one of the characters.

My most recent release is a book called Cheater and it’s a spicy summer games novella. The heroine is named Colette, and she’s a young woman who is fiercely loyal. She doesn’t take crap from anyone, and she is driven by love. I strive to be like that in my life, but I also strive to be a size eight. The thing is, she accepts all challenges and attacks them like a staving man would attack a steak. Go big or go home.

As soon as we entered my room, Bryn was on her knees, taking my cock into her mouth. This was exactly what I needed. It was the perfect way to ease the tension in my body and my brain. If oral sex were a medal event, Bryn would take the gold for sure.

“You’ve got to stop or slow down.” I pushed her luscious lips away from me. She released my dick with a pop. “If you don’t, it’s going to be over before it begins.” Hard as a rock and wanting to lose myself in her body, I pulled her up and backed her to the edge of my bed. Her yoga pants peeled easily from her legs. Bryn never wore panties—she didn’t like the lines. The strength in her legs was obvious. Muscles bulged from her calves to her stonelike ass. Not for the first time, I thought, Damn, what a beautiful sight.

Taking her lead, I dropped to my knees and buried my face between her legs. She loved it when I licked her softly and worked my way to a bite. I sucked and nibbled until she shouted my name. Yes, she was a screamer, but it didn’t matter because I was the only person occupying the west wing.

Happy Monday! Or is that possible?
It's not my least favorite day but it's close. Since I don't go to an office or anything for a 9 to 5 job anymore, the days of the week sometimes run together. I had a pretty good weekend. I'm house shopping, I don't know if anything will come of it, but I do love to look. Writing wise, Ryan finished his last chapter in Texas Maverick and I will be finishing up that book soon.
It's the 5th one in the Texas Heroes Series.
I'm also progressing well on a Hell Yeah! that will be titled LOVE ME, I DARE YOU and Isaac and Avery will be featured in this book as well as a new couple, Josh and Emma. Sunday, I was able to spend a few minutes on the phone with Lexi Post and she was so nice. She's one of the authors that will be releasing a book in my Hell Yeah! kindleworld on August 11th. That is so exciting. The reader room is up to 605 people now and we're still growing. Lexi also hinted about a new paranormal project, that I might get to be involved in with her, and that made me happy. So, many good things are happening. I'm truly blessed. I have a list of books to write a mile long and no intention of slowing down.
I hope you have a good week too!
